The first Cabinodd exhibition will be held at the end of 2006 during the two-year anniversary of Bal du Masque. The masquerade takes place at the Goliath in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. It is a unique event focusing on the mysterious and the creative.

Bal du Masque offers: a garden with a fireplace, the Poisonous Bar serving absinthe, market stands selling masks and art, dj's spinning atmospheric sounds, a Turkish fortune teller, sweet treats by Madame de Pompadour, performances by the Hoop Lady, Burlesque showdancers, Carnival of Hellucinations, Trapeze girls and much more. A perfect place for a cabinet of art.

The following Cabinodd artists will show their works during the next Bal du Masque: Jolanda Olie, K. Louise Judd, Carrie Ann Baade, Beth Robinson, Kerry Kate Patterson and Claudia Drake. Different Cabinodd artists will have the opportunity to exhibit their work during the future editions.

All works will be sold for special prizes ranging from 15 to 100 euro!

Cabinodd and The International Surreal, Fantastic & Visionary Art Forum have decided to partner our resources cabinodd.com & surrealartforum.com so that our members could share the opportunities that both websites have to offer.

Cabinodd would therefore like to invite you to join The Surreal & Visionary Art Forum and get in touch with its members, ranging from accomplished artists to those who are just emerging, collectors, curators, magazine publishers & art enthusiasts. The forum also welcomes artists from related movements, genres & artforms such as: Outsider, Lowbrow, Pop Surrealism, Toy art, Esoteric, Occult, Fantasy & Sci-fi as well as Animators & Creative Writers.

The forum was founded in 2005 by Jon Beinart's Underground Australian Surreal Art Collective, with intent to strengthen the international network of Surreal, Fantastic, Psychedelic & Visionary Artists, for potential collaboration, group exhibitions, exhibition invites, publication opportunities, resource sharing, calls for submissions, promotion, feedback, discussion and inspiration.

Cabinodd will sponsor the publishing of an art book entitled Metamorphosis which is scheduled for publication late 2006. This book will present the work of 50 contemporary artists of the Surreal Art, Fantastic Realism & Visionary art traditions. The book will showcase a range of art from some of the most prominent artists of our movements to those relatively unknown from all over the globe. The aim is to feature a healthy balance of dark and light art of the imagination and to celebrate artists who are yet to make their mark in the history books. Cabinodd artists featured in the Metamorphosis book are: Zeljko Djurovic and Carrie Ann Baade.
